Summer 2023 campaign

A summer travel push for the airline and its Holidays by flydubai arm, run across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. Creative was refreshed in-house with illustrated seasonal destination art and carried on lamppost and bridge-banner outdoor in Dubai, online and GCC radio, with a Virgin Radio UAE slot where every caller won a holiday for two to Thailand and an ice cream truck activation at JBR and City Walk.

The brief

Travellers across the GCC planning summer trips, the airline's peak season for selling flights and holidays.

The idea

The in-house team redrew summer creative with seasonal destination illustrations, run on Dubai lampposts and bridges, online and radio, plus a Virgin Radio slot giving every caller a Thailand trip for two.

What to borrow

Guaranteeing a prize to every caller makes a radio partnership a live demonstration of the holiday product on sale.
