A Dubai Invite
DET turned residents into the channel, letting anyone with an Emirates ID nominate up to five visiting friends or relatives and collect more than Dh3,000 of hotel, dining and attraction offers once the visit was verified. It ran to 31 October 2026 with rewards valid to the end of the year.
- The brief
- UAE residents with friends and relatives overseas, whom DET treated as the city's hosts for drawing in visitors.
- What to borrow
- Rewarding residents for the guests they bring turns an existing population into a referral network for tourism.
